Hey guys! I’m doing some changes to my blog and decided to do a quick update. I’ll be using CommentLuv, KeywordLuv and Top Commentators WordPress plugins from now on. If you don’t know what these 3 do, I’ll give you a quick explanation:

CommentLuv, KeywordLuv:
Those 2 plugins will allow you to publish links with DOFOLLOW link attribute to your site, more information about KeywordLuv can be found at:

CommentLuv:
http://comluv.com/download/commentluv-wordpress/What this gives to you? Well, those links will be counted by and will help you to rank better as they have dofollow. They’ll have link next (anchor) instead of your regular name as well. It’s really easy to use:
Enter “YourName @ YourKeywords” in the Name field, fill out your website address and you’ll get a full link to your site. For example:
“lelik @ traditional russian pancakes”, website URL https://tasterussian.com/russian-pancakes.html, will leave a comment like this:
traditional russian pancakesPlease note: i will delete all spam comments and comments like “cool site” “wow” etc. If you have anything to say – good or bad – feel free to do so.

Top Commentators
Well. That’s another cool one. See the right sidebar – “Top commentators”. There you can get a link to your site as well. If you do nice comments, if you enjoy my site, if you like my recipes – you’ll always be on the top of the list with link to your website.
I really want to see some feedback about my site – what do you like and what you don’t!

When a visitor sees the CommentLuv and KeywordLuv or Do-Follow logos in a blog, it gives him a bit of enthusiasm to post a comment, this increase the page-view and reduces the bounce rate of the blog.

Follow Blog, Keyword Luv,Comment Luv & Top Commenters are superb concepts, interlinking is what the web is all about essentially! However they still need to be moderated to get rid off the crap comments like thanks for the post or great blog

Backlinks is where its at. Link exchange can be a good help when you do it right as well. I love commentluv though too.
These plugins will definitely increase the size of your vocal community. I have found that giving your readers an incentive to comment and they will.

I really appreciate blogs using KeywordLuv plugin with dofollow turnon as it helps website owners get backlinks to their own site after adding their comments to the post. But at the same time, I urge bloggers who want backlinks to contribute useful comments to return the favor to the blog owner. Not just a short sentence or 2 word comment. This is a win win situation for all of us and will encourage more blog owners to have dofollow turn on for KeywordLuv as I have noted some KeywordLuv sites have dofollow turn off because I suspect there are much spam t their sites.

In my opinion, dofollow comments are the way to go if you want to reward your commenters for spending time writing interesting comments and adding value to your blog for fellowreaders.

When both are activated, the top commentator uses the anchor of commentluv or not?
I love the top commentators plugin aside from keywordluv (which I think is really useful to make things more ethical), going back to the top commentator. It enables me to be listed on a special area of the page and giving a do follow backlink to my website as a reward for commenting a lot of times in a single site. Isn’t it sweet?

Having KeywordLuv etc installed does attract a lot of spam, but at the same time it also encourages genuine comments rather than the usual “I like your post”. I have it on some of my sites and still moderate everything, unless its a valuable post – it doesnt get approved.

Good to see that there are others who agree with spreading the link love around…as long as there are ways no bottleneck the link juice then people are always going to try and game the system. If all links were followed then surely we’d all be on a level playing field!

I also have my blog set up as dofollow with commentluv and keywordluv enabled. i think its a great idea to reward your readers and to encourage participation on your blog. These are fantastic wordpress plugins, and i always believe in making your site great for your users not search engines.
I will use comment luv myself as soon as i get any page rank. Right now, i dont think many would come to comment. I already have dofollow and i get only like 2-3 comments a day.

Hi! I’ve been using keywordluv to promote my sites for a while now. I strongly recommend this method to anybody who’s just starting out in Internet marketing as it offers a wide array of incoming links.

We know blog commenting can turn into spamming, but if done right and respectfully, commenting can be a good addition to a link building strategy as you know.
So we have tweaked a custom google search to search for specific keywords and only return blog posts and web pages built on a popular open source CMS that all allow dofollow links in comments.
